Combat tier C · Official group: Starter

Water grimoire

A serviceable starter grimoire that can clear the opening route but loses ground as stronger books are developed.

Water strengths

  • Immediately usable
  • Enough for starter quests
  • No need to delay the first route

What to watch for

It does not offer the same current damage ceiling as the better growth or high-rarity options.

How to develop Water

Use the book actively in combat instead of relying only on basic attacks. Like every grimoire described by the developer, Water gains ordinary book levels as you fight and unlocks new spells at levels 10 and 20. You keep the same book for both milestones.

Build a repeatable rotation around its strengths before judging a fresh result. More abilities can change how the kit handles groups, bosses and downtime. Use the leveling guide and calculator to plan those milestones.

Combat tier versus official availability

Tier C is a current community combat assessment, not a developer rating. The official description places Water in the “Starter” availability group but does not publish a verified roll percentage. Balance changes can move the combat tier without changing that official group.
