Poison grimoire
A damage-over-time grimoire that rewards keeping poison effects active and giving a rotation time to build.
Poison strengths
- Stacking damage over time
- Good payoff in longer fights
- Distinct attrition playstyle
What to watch for
Its attacks are slower than Lightning, so short encounters can finish before the full damage-over-time value appears.
How to develop Poison
Use the book actively in combat instead of relying only on basic attacks. Like every grimoire described by the developer, Poison gains ordinary book levels as you fight and unlocks new spells at levels 10 and 20. You keep the same book for both milestones.
Build a repeatable rotation around its strengths before judging a fresh result. More abilities can change how the kit handles groups, bosses and downtime. Use the leveling guide and calculator to plan those milestones.
Combat tier versus official availability
Tier B is a current community combat assessment, not a developer rating. The official description places Poison in the “Growth” availability group but does not publish a verified roll percentage. Balance changes can move the combat tier without changing that official group.
